Think of that distance as protection, not a problem. The further away the kittie, the less likely it is you'll decide to adopt the little fluff-ball.

u know ... mi dad yoosta feed me an mi noo brudder matsui in da parkin lot ... an now he'z talkin abowt a noo kitten dat he sez iz "adorable!" ...
wid 5 catz in dis howse ... mi mom sez "Don't even think about bringing another cat into this house!"
