Thursday, January 21, 2010 Happy Gotcha Day Sara!It's my Gotcha day. Been with Ma and Pop for 2 years, and I'm coming up on 21 years old. Ma hasn't posted in a while and we're way overdue for a check in, but we're all still here, even the annoying not so little one. Miss you guys, and hopefully Ma will give a real update soon. Come get me! Come and PLAY!  Mama and Daddy let me come out and play and Baci and I have been having SO much fun! Suzy growls and hisses at me just like Bebe does, so I know that she loves me too! SO MUCH ROOM TO PLAY! Wednesday, January 21, 2009 Sara's Salon - Gotcha Day Last year my old Pop drove me over to Ma's and I hung out on her couch. Old Pop used to get migraines so he had to find somewhere else for me to live. Ma didn't care that I was 18 years old already and we set in to pets and snuggles right away.  There are Tunajuicetinis and Niparettes (if you're old enough) and lots of Temptashuns, so please help yourself to the festivities. Don't mind me if I nap ...it's just what I do. Labels: Cats, Gotcha Day, Sara Friday, January 16, 2009 Suzy's Sweets - INTROODER! First, it is cold. It is very cold. I moved my Ham-Mick over to the heater because it is COLD! Now, I didn't know what was goin' on, but there had been a LOT of noise coming from my 2nd litter room. Baci sat in front of the door ALL day yesterday! Last night when Mama came home she went in there, then Daddy put something in front of the door. Then the door OPENED and THIS is what we saw!  There was an INTROODER in our Litter Room #2! I steered clear, but Baci was right there protecting Daddy from it. Mama was IN THE ROOM and I was a little skeered.  Daddy gave us some nip, but Baci kept killin' my buzz 'cuz he was growly and hissy. I guess that this is Iago, that Daddy and Mama keep talking about. Mama is coming to live here all of the time soon, so I guess Iago is going to live here too. There are other kitties that I smell on Mama and Daddy sometimes ...I wonder if they'll live here too ... Iago was crying this morning. I think he's lonely. Mama and Daddy went in there, but they're day hunting now, so he's in there by himself. I think I'll just stay on the bed and let Baci deal with him.  If he decides that he's ok, then I'll check him out. (This piture on my Ham-Mick doesn't go with my post, but Mama wanted a piture of me in the bloggie. Alla the pitures were too dark in my new room.) Last night, Mama put me in the PTU and we went in the big metal PTU and we went to another place! I cried a little when I was in the big metal PTU, but I like my little one. Sometimes I sleep in there. But we went to a new place and it has a big room with a HUGE litter box and there was food and a water bowl and Mama gave me new toys! There's someone outside of the door in that room, but I couldn't see who it was. Mama and Daddy stayed in the room with me and played and played while I explored. When Mama and Daddy went out of the room there was no one to snuggle with or play with. I looked and I looked but I couldn't find Bebe or Sara. I did found a purr blanket (Daddy's fleece shirt) on the up high thing and there was a nip mousie there! I found the litter box just fine, and while I was there some one HISSED outside of the door! I wanna see what's out there, but I think it's safer back closer to my PTU and I can look from there. So far the only thing that's come through the door has been Mama and Daddy, so maybe they were hissin'. I haven't gotten any telepathic messages from Baci today ...I wanna tell him what's going on! I know you call me Sara-Bear, but honestly, I am NOT snuggling with this creature. In other Tuxie news, Mission-Dawg (really, she's got white on her chest!) went back to the V-E-T a week ago Friday because her turmor had regrown and split her stitches and staples open. Dr. Bill gotted all of the tumor out again, and when she had her check in last Friday it looked really good. Nothing opening up, no leakies, and WOW was she energetic. Ma couldn't believe how happy she was. She said it was like having a puppy (*shudder*). Last night was snuggle night at our house. Ma read for a while, even though she took MY spot on the couch, and gave me lots of pets and Pop was playin' a computer game on the laptop. Even the insane child, Iago, settled down for a little while. I'm still not exactly always going to the litter box exactly where I should, but hey, I'm old and the little runt irritates me. There's rumor that he may be going away, but then Ma said something about all of us ...I'd just better have a good spot to claim, ya know? Labels: Cats, Sara, Tuxie Tuesday Monday, January 12, 2009 Baci's Bar - Mancat Monday- V-E-T!I was just chillin', minding my own business when Dad cornered me and put me in the PTU! I went to the V-E-T!!! It took 4 of them with Dad to unscrew the PTU and throw a towel on me before they shoved the pokie stick in me, but not before I got a good swipe in at Dad. How COULD he! Then I got really sleepy, so I took a nap. Mom said that I have a pretty pedicure, but I'm a GUY! My hip hurts from all of the shots they gave me, but Dad was all proud because I was in such good health. Dr. Bill even said that I had "Vicious Teeth!" I'm still kind of out of it, but I think they said that I had to get all checked out and have my manicure so Iago could come over. I guess they were afraid that I might hurt him when we were playin' whappity. I'm still a little woozy from the nap I took. I'm only 10.5lbs, and Dr. Bill guessed that I was 15lbs, so I got a little extra juice in my sleepy shot. Can't believe I only drew blood on Dad though ...I must be getting slow in my old age. She was hoggin' alla the nip, so Dad couldn't get a picture of just me in it. Dad and Mom abandoned us ALL weekend, but they took that Mission-Dawg with them, so it wasn't all bad. Dr. Bill got "clean edges" on her lumpy leg, but he said that she will prolly be lumpy again in about a month, and she might be going to see Cloud Chaser at the Bridge in about six months. She popped her stitches AND the staples that they put in her leg, so she gets to wear this:  She looks pretty dopey, and she knows it. I just sit in my cattree and stay out of the way. She's knockin' into everything, including Dad and Mom! I've been letting Mom pet me while she's standing up and I'm on the bed. I even let her pet me while I was on the floor. She's kinda ok. She's got a soft lap and skritches my ears, so I haven't put the claw whappy on her or growled at her lately ...now Dad, he's still growlworthy. Suzy is tryin' to get into my nip on my Ham-Mick, so I gotta go. I's wishin' you all a happy new year, and purrin' that it's not so hard on all of us furrbabies this year. Today is Mission-Dog's surgery for her mast cell tumor on her leg. Please keep purring that Dr. Bill can get all of the ickies off of her. Labels: Baci, Cats, ManCat Monday Thursday, December 18, 2008 Thankful ThursdayWe's been a little sad lately, as you all can imagine, so we wanted to think about some good things today so we don't get stuck in the sad. Mama thought that Thankful Thursday was the perfect time to do that.We are thankful that: 1.) Cloud Chaser's results came back and the V-E-T's all over the world are going to have a new way to figure out if kitties have sinus cancer. They've never tested the Mandibular Lymph Nodes before and Cloudy's lymph was full of bad cells. Now if there's a cat that is a "Chronic Snuffler" (really, that's exactly what Dr. Bill said!) they can test that lymph node right away to rule out cancer! 2.) Even though Mission-Dog's lump came back positive for Mast Cell Cancer, Dr. Bill said that they can operate on her on Monday and should be able to get it all out. 3.) We adopted a Squillion in memory of Cloudy and named him Starshine because now he can see clearly.  4.) The wonderful Creek Cats gave us this Lemonade Award!  The Lemonade Award is given to sites which the giver show either great attitude and or gratitude. The rules for these awards are:
1. Put the logo on your blog. - Mama is workin' on this. 5.) Diamond made Bebe this AWESOME graphic for last weeks TT!  Thank you so much, Diamond! Bebe loves it! 6.) Baci is now a member of the M-Cats club! 7.) We've been getting wonderful cards and notes in the mail from so furry many kitties and beans. Thank you all so much! 8.) As much as we miss them when they're out, we're thankful that Mama & Daddy are still Day Hunting. That means that, not only can they take good care of us, but they can help other kitties a little bit too. 9.) We gots our Ham-Micks! Now Mama just has to MAKE them so we can start lounging! There's more ...Each time we thought of one another one popped up. We're so thankful for all of the cats and beans ...even the woofies and buns and other critters on the CB. You've all welcomed us into the CB with open paws and hearts and for that, and so much else, we thank you all. Luv, the Cafe Cats (Sara, Bebe, Baci, Suzy and Iago) pee. ess.
