Tuesday, August 14, 2007 Cats on Tuesday - Meet L.K.!![]() This is L.K. She's a beautiful calico, isn't she? ![]() She missed her FoodMan lots and lots while he was away and was very happy to see him when he got home last night. We played lots while he was gone. This is when she put the attack on my evil shoe!! ![]() ![]() She's like Daisy, when she gets pet really well. I didn't expect her to put the bitey on me, but I know it was just because she was sooooo happy to have snuggles. I have to put this picture in because she's just got such a pretty face. ![]() I had a wonderful time getting to know L.K. and Simon better this weekend. We were all happy to see their Bean come home! ![]() Labels: Cats, Cats on Tuesday, L.K. and Simon Sunday, August 12, 2007 ManCat Monday - Kitty SittingThis is Simon. He's a 10 year old Ginger boy. I'm watching him and his Sisfurr, L.K., while their FoodMan is away on vacation in Canada. He is missing his man very much in this picture.![]() We've played every day and he doesn't seem quite so sad as he did the first day. He was very excited when I told him that his FoodMan was coming home tomorrow (That's L.K. in the background). ![]() I'm just crazy about his eyes! They're the prettiest yellow green, and he's got the most ManCatly rumble purr! ![]() Simon LOVES to be pet with feet! ![]() Tomorrow we'll visit with L.K. for a little bit. Labels: Cats, ManCat Monday Wednesday, August 08, 2007 SpookySpooky just crossed the Rainbow Bridge. The exploratory surgery was extremely risky and the prognosis wasn't good for him with the mass on his pancreas. John knew that he had to make sure that Spooky wasn't in any more pain. We'll see you there, Spooky. Chase shadows for us and we'll meet you by the bathroom door. ![]() Labels: Cats Tuesday, August 07, 2007 Spooky, Spot, KC & Tut Update! - Cats on Tuesday![]() Update from John, Spooky and gang's FoodMan!! Spooky is doing ok, but still not eating. The tests were inconclusive but point to it just being the liver (as opposed to cancer) so they'll need to do an ultrasound and drug therapy and a possible stomach tube to get him eating again. No mention of lipidosis and she's still pretty much leaning to the positive side. He's a young and usually healthy cat. The doc is going to call me back to see how soon they'll be able to do the tube. They have to wait for the anesthesiologist to come in before they can do any more. He may end up there for the whole week, though. Hopefully I'll hear something in the next half hour or so. As for Spot...she is doing GREAT!! she's DEMANDING food now and is putting on weight fast...she still looks like shit because she's old and has no desire to clean herself, but we'll give her a bath soon when the hole in her face closes up. KC is back to waiting for the bugs to crawl in under the kitchen sink, which explains why she got so fat!!!...lol. She just had the standard tests, and shots that come along with an initial visit and spay so it's nothing special for her. They did the lateral incision on her left side but the scar is only about 1/2 inch and there are no stitches to remove. She got the cone off yesterday and is very happy and back to herself now. Tut is a freak...period. Labels: Cats, Cats on Tuesday Monday, August 06, 2007 Spooky's turn for purrs & purrayers! We need some more healthy kitty vibes to California please. Now that Spot is feeling better, Spooky has stopped eating and drinking.![]() His FoodMan, John, has him at the V-E-T now and it sounds like it may be something with his liver. I'm crossing my fingers that it's not Lipidosis. Please keep Spooky and his FurrFamily in your thoughts and purrrayers. It's been a rough month over there (Their KC kitty just went in for some tests too). Thank you everycat & everybody.
