Sunday, November 30, 2008 Sara & Bebe - Easy Like SundayWe's being furry lazy today. Daddy is sick and Mama is just kinda putzin' around. We's all been getting lots of scritches and cuddles. - Bebe Ma even slept on my tummy earlier! I let her, 'cuz she was warm. There's a lot of white stuff falling out of the sky so snuggled is right where we want to be. As you can see, I'm starting to tolerate Cloud Chaser's invasion a bit better.  He just has no concept of personal space! The other cats at Pop's new house must all be those "snuggle up together" types, because Cloud Chaser doesn't get my personal space bubble AT ALL.  He's ok though. He lays around a lot like I do so I don't have to put the whap on him, and he growls at Iago really well, so we've got that in common too. Labels: Cats, Cloud Chaser, Sara, Tuxie Tuesday Monday, November 24, 2008 Cloud Chaser's Corner - Man Cat MondaySara, Bebe and Iago said that since I'm the only actual MANcat in the house right now that I could bloggie today.I'm still pretty sniffy from the fungus that I got, and Dr. Bill said that I have a sinus and inner ear infection too. Mama & Dad have been giving me all kinds of medcine in my foods, but I can't smell them or taste them, so it's not so bad. I don't really like it when they feed me with the syringe, but I can't find the food 'cuz I'm still having a hard time seeing.  Mama said it was good that I was getting feisty yesterday when Dad was trying to clean me up a bit. He was wiping my nose and mouth and I did not like it, so I told him so! Then I took a walk around the house and Mama was so excited! I think I need to have Mama keep an watch on Bebe though. She said her eye was starting to bother her this morning. Samantha saw Mama through college, moving to Chicago and back, marriage, divorce and everything good and bad in between. Samantha loved everyone, was always gracious and regal and purred right up until she went over the Rainbow Bridge. Samantha Belle fiercely fought occipital cancer from January 2007 until September 4, 2007. She was Mama's brave girl. Most feral kittehs aren't as lucky as we were to have a Mama and Daddy to take care of us.  I will admit though that there are times that I miss being an only cat ...or just with Samantha. Labels: Cats Tuesday, November 18, 2008 Sara's Salon - Tuxie TuesdayHrmphMa had the flashy box out the other day and she was flashing and flashing and I heard her say to Pop that she had to lowd the flashy box onto the glowy screen, but they never did it. Cloud Chaser was sitting too close to me, but since Ma had the flashy box out I let him because it meant that I was going to bloggie today. Not only did I have to put up with his stinky butt, but now I don't even have pictures to show for it! Bad Ma! I ain't gettin' any younger over here, ya know? Ma said that maybe tomorrow she'll post them, but TODAY is Tuxie Tuesday and we're Tuxies! Even if Cloud Chaser is gray. Hrmph. I need to nap and think about this. We're just glad that WE don't have to have Mama put pills in us! I'm a 19 year old Tuxie that Ma took in last January after my old food man realized that his allergies and my dander were not getting along. I found my spots in Ma's house pretty quickly, and she's been giving me special powder in my stinky food and now it doesn't hurt to get up and down from the couch and bed as much as it used to. Getting old is really rough, but there's a great spot of outside past the seeing door and Ma lets me go out there sometimes if I have my harness on. She and Pop let me out there without my harness on for a while, but then the food powder started working and I realized that I could jump down to a different part of outside. Bebe, the fluffy one, has yet to comprehend that I am the Queen of the House. The training is going slowly, but a few more head whaps and she may understand. The small one, Iago, rarely approaches. Head whaps were effective with that one. Cloud Chaser doesn't smell as sick as he did so he's fair game for head whaps too, when he gets too close. That boy has no concept of personal space. Pop brought him here when he got sick and while he moves into his new house. He keeps to himself, so I'll allow him to stay. This blogging thing is exhausting. I've been awake for 10 minutes! Time for a nap. P.S. I am NOT snuggling that bear. It just happened to be there. Labels: Cats, Tuxie Tuesday Monday, November 10, 2008 Iago's Toy Box - Mancat Monday special guest!HiHiHiHi!Mama said I'm too little to be a Mancat yet, but when I went to the V-E-T today Dr. Bill said that I was up to 3.25 poundses! I think that's lots of big! We have a big big Mancat living with us right now, so he can have Monday for now. His name is Cloud Chaser and he is sick. He has something very hard to say. Mama will type it for me: Feline Cryptococcosis Here is a picture of Cloud Chaser!  Tanks Mama! Cloudy is very sneezy and kinda drooly, but I like pouncing on his tail anyway! He smelled funny when he came to stay with us, and Sara didn't even growl at him! He doesn't smell so sick now, so I play with his tail and Bebe growls and Sara bops him on the head. Mama said that seems much more normal. I hope he stays with us. He doesn't run away when I jump on his tail. I think it's because he can't see very well right now. He sure could tell where to bop me wien I jumped on his head last night though! Gotta go! Bebe is waving her tail and I've gotta catch it!
